Focus Style adds a visible outline to elements that receive keyboard focus on your website. This makes it easier for keyboard users to identify which element is currently active and supports accessibility best practices.
Visible focus indicators are an important part of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and help users navigate websites without a mouse.
Open the accessibility widget on your website, click Manage, and sign in to your account. (If the Manage option is not available, use the keyboard shortcut: Windows:
Ctrl + Lor macOS:⌘ + L)
Click View Remediation.
Click Focus Style to open the focus settings.
To enable custom focus styling, turn on Customize the focus style.
Configure your preferred focus settings:
Focus Color
Focus Style
Focus Line Thickness
Save your changes if prompted.
⚠️ Important: Disabling or reducing focus visibility may make keyboard navigation more difficult for users with disabilities.
Expected Result
The website displays a visible focus outline around interactive elements when they receive keyboard focus. The focus appearance reflects the settings you configured in the widget.
