Getting Started with the UserWay Accessibility Monitor

UserWay’s Accessibility Monitor dashboard gives your team accessibility trends, actionable insights for your websites, and real-time alerts.

Scan and monitor your website for ADA and WCAG 2.1 compliance to identify and remediate accessibility issues. Gain actionable insights with one of the most comprehensive accessibility monitoring solutions available.

  1. Register for an Accessibility Monitor account https://scan.userway.org/join or sign https://scan.userway.org/login in if you already have one

  2. From the Accessibility Monitor dashboard, click New Scan:

  3. Enter your website URL (or a specific page URL) and click Start Scan:

  4. Once the Accessibility Monitor finishes generating the sitemap, select the pages you would like to scan, Click Scan (#) Pages:

    💡 If you already have an Accessibility Monitor subscription, the scan will start immediately and the selected pages will be deducted from the number of pages available under your subscription.

    If you don't have an active Accessibility Monitor subscription, the following window will appear, allowing you to either start your one-time trial scan or purchase a subscription plan.

  5. The view will automatically return to the My Scans page, and the scan will begin. Once the scan is complete, click Dashboard to view the results:

  6. On the Dashboard page, you can review all of the scan results, including the issues that were identified and the overall accessibility summary:
