Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Occurrences" mean in the report?

Occurrences represent the total number of times a specific accessibility issue was found across your website. The report may only display a sample of affected URLs rather than every page where the issue exists, so the occurrence count reflects all detections associated with that issue, while the listed URLs serve as examples to help you identify and investigate it.

What does "Requires Manual Remediation" mean?

Requires Manual Remediation means the UserWay Widget identified an accessibility issue that cannot be safely or reliably fixed automatically. These issues typically require changes to your website's source code because an automated fix could impact functionality, layout, or user experience. If you have a developer, we recommend sharing the report with them so they can review the affected pages and implement the necessary fixes.

Can I download a report from a specific date, month, or year?

No. UserWay does not store historical copies of previously generated reports for download. Each time you click Download the report, a new report is generated using the most recent accessibility data available at that time.

How long does a page URL remain in the report?

Page URLs are retained in the reporting database for up to 30 days. If a page stops sending accessibility data and no new activity is received during that period, the page may be removed from the database and will no longer appear in newly generated reports. If the page becomes active again, it may reappear in future reports.
