Changing the Widget Icon Style and Size Using the UserWay Dashboard

Follow the steps below to customize the appearance of your accessibility widget button directly from the UserWay dashboard.

  1. Access the UserWay Dashboard: Open your web browser and go to https://manage.userway.org. Log in using your UserWay credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Site List: In the left-hand menu, click on "My Sites."

  3. Open the Settings for the Site: Click on the domain name of your site (e.g., example.com).​


  4. Select the Icon Size:

    • Open the "Customize" tab.

    • Scroll down until the section labeled "Button Type."

    • Choose the preferred size for your widget icon:

      • Small

      • Medium

      • Large

      Click on the desired option. A selection indicator (blue circle) will appear next to your choice.

  5. Choose the Icon Style

    Below the size options, pick the icon style that best fits your website. The available options include:

    • Standard accessibility symbol

    • Wheelchair icon

    • Eye/visibility icon

    • Walking assistance icon

    • Adjustments/sliders icon

    • Text-based “Accessibility Menu” button

    Click on any style to preview it. A blue checkmark will confirm the selected icon.


  6. Apply changes: click "Save" to apply the changes. If you would like this change to be applied across all sites in your account, click "Save to all".
