When you run a scan with Accessibility Monitor, the system tests your site at specific screen resolutions for both desktop and mobile views.
This ensures your accessibility results reflect how real people experience your site on different devices.
Resolutions we use
View | Resolution | Notes |
🖥️ Desktop | 1680 × 600 | Simulates a standard desktop browser view. |
📱 Mobile | 1334 × 750 | Simulates an iPhone 7 screen. |
Why this matters
Testing at these fixed resolutions helps Accessibility Monitor:
Replicate real-world browsing on common desktop and mobile screens.
Catch layout-dependent issues — some accessibility problems only appear at certain screen sizes (for example, content that overlaps, gets cut off, or becomes hard to reach on smaller screens).
Keep results consistent from one scan to the next, so you can reliably track improvements over time.
