How to Change the Widget’s Default Language in the UserWay Dashboard

Learn how to change the UserWay Widget’s default language for a website through the UserWay Dashboard and verify the updated setting.

Change the default language used by the UserWay Widget on a specific website from your UserWay Dashboard.

  1. Sign in to your UserWay Dashboard at https://manage.userway.org/.

  2. Click My Sites in the left navigation menu, then click the website you want to update:

  3. Open the Customize tab to show all the options:

  4. Find the widget language setting, then open the language menu and choose the default language you want to use, If a Save button appears, click Save or Save to all sites, to apply it to all sites on the account:

  5. Open or refresh the website, then open the widget to verify that its interface uses the chosen language: (Use private/icognito window)

ℹ️ Note: This setting changes the default language of the widget interface. It does not translate the content of your website.

Expected Result

The widget interface opens in the default language chosen for that website.
