Usage Statistics Add-on Overview

Learn what data is available in the UserWay Usage Statistics Add-on, including widget loads, opens, accessibility profiles, functions, and translations.

The Usage Statistics add-on helps website administrators understand how visitors interact with the UserWay Accessibility Widget. The dashboard reports widget activity, accessibility-feature usage, keyboard navigation, and other available metrics.

ℹ️ Note: Customers with a Pro Plus or Ultimate plan have access to Usage Statistics. Customers on other plans can purchase the Usage Statistics add-on separately from the UserWay Dashboard under My Sites > your website > Stats > Upgrade.

Available Predefined Reporting Periods

Each predefined reporting period represents a rolling date range ending today. The report counts backward from today by the number of days, months, or years you choose.

For example, if today is October 20, 2026, clicking 3 years displays usage statistics from October 20, 2023, through October 20, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions: Accessibility Widget Usage Statistics

When Does the Widget Start Tracking Usage Statistics?

Usage tracking begins automatically as soon as the Accessibility Widget is installed and active on the website.

If I Upgrade or Add Usage Statistics Later, Can I See Past Data?

Yes. Because data recording begins when the Accessibility Widget is first installed, historical statistics become available in the dashboard when the Usage Statistics feature is enabled. The amount of historical data available depends on how long the Accessibility Widget has been installed and active.

What Happens to Usage Data If the Widget Is Temporarily Removed?

If the Accessibility Widget is temporarily disabled or removed, previously recorded data remains stored in the account. New interactions are not recorded while the widget is removed or inactive. When the Accessibility Widget is reinstalled or reactivated, new activity is added to the existing usage history.
